No longer is it good enough to be exceptional at only one skill set when you are involved in the media game. That goes for creating media that is. Everyday we hear from a photographer who has been asked if he can do something else in addition to his usual workload. It might be create a video, create an online gallery, fly a drone above the shoot for that bird’s eye view, or many other requests which seem to join the list of what photographers “should be able to do.”
Jesper Anhede, from Kickass Photos, is not going to be left behind and faced with the challenge of shooting one of the most unique holiday destinations in the world. He knew he had to offer all of the clients requests and more. Jesper used AquaTech equipment to shoot all of the underwater images for this job.
The below is an excerpt form a great post on his website which you can read
here.
“There are gazillions of photographers and videographers out there. The market is harder than ever before. Taking kickass photos alone is not enough to stand out. So for the last years I have been developing my skills in photography and video on land, from the air, in the water and under the water. Instead of working with four different professionals (photographer, videographer, aerial photographer and underwater photographer) you work with one person. What you get out of it is a much easier workflow and the best possible photo and video. No matter if it is from the air, on ground or in the water.”
